TANGO SQUARE, LATVIA

Located in the heart of Riga's business district the Tango Square mixed use development has been created to incorporate the cities first international 5 star Urban hotel, to be managed by Hyatt International and several residential apartment blocks with ground floor prime shop frontage set within an undulating "living-wall" all facing onto a new modern public square designed by Scape Design Associates

Working closely with the local architectural team, Scape has created a series of dynamic plaza options each uniting the fluid and opposing geometry of the space. Paved in granite setts with spill out space for cafeteria and restaurants the square will become a hub for upscale shopping and dining from the surrounding apartments and wider city.

Scape have also been commissioned to provide contemporary designs for a series of roof decks and courtyards within the new Hyatt hotel, including Spa courtyard, function room spill out and presidential suite roof terrace.
