COSTAMARE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING, ATHENS, GREECE

This very modern urban landscape surrounds the international headquarters of a Greek shipping chain. The brief required space for corporate events and staff relaxation, a private residential garden for the use of the owners, and a location for the propeller and anchor of the fleet’s first ever ship.

Our solution evokes the patterns of waves washing against a ship’s bow, transformed into sinuous pathways and rolling lawns. The curved forms create an amphitheatric setting centred on a dynamic water feature and shaded by native fruit trees.
