NORTHGATE, QATAR

Northgate is a landmark commercial, retail and leisure destination with 400 metres of prime frontage to the busy North Road, 10km north of Doha city centre. The development hosts over two hundred shops, five anchor stores, an eight screen cineplex, supermarket, family and fine dining and four thousand basement parking spaces. The exterior landscape interlocks with the architecture fusing traditional Arabic detailing and modernist architectural forms, creating an almost exclusively pedestrianized landscape. Animated water features cool the air during the hottest hours of the day and at night bring these vibrant spaces to life.

A cohesive sequence of exterior spaces, from 5 key arrival motor courts to outdoor dining terraces and bustling pedestrianised retail streets, integrate commercial and retail uses to create a unique shopping experience and working environment where culture and entertainment is synonymous with the development.
