RADISSON SAS GOLDEN SANDS RESORT & SPA, GOLDEN BAY, MALTA

Malta’s finest luxury hotel is a sleek, modern building that rests on a cliff above a secluded bay. Our challenge was to integrate this very contemporary resort into a highly sensitive natural setting, working closely with the environmental department of the local planning authority.

The sinuous swimming pool reflects the curves of the architecture and incorporates an infinity edge view to the horizon and a witty lazy river, providing a focus from the main lobby. Our planting design uses a high percentage of indigenous species to protect the spectacular cliffs and surrounding natural environment.
